By providing a new option for home-based medical care, Aetna is helping its members achieve their health goals and access high-quality care in the counties of Cook, DuPage, Kane, Kankakee, Lake, McHenry, and Will. Now in Atlanta! WellBe Teams up with Aetna to offer Home-Based Primary Care

Home-Based Medical Care is now available in Atlanta, GA.

Starting July 1st, select Aetna members in the Atlanta metro region now have access to home-based primary care services from WellBe Senior Medical. WellBe’s primary care services are delivered by a team of licensed clinicians in the comfort of the patient’s home. By combining the strength of physicians, nurse practitioners, social workers, paramedics, and other healthcare professionals, WellBe can deliver a new level of support to Aetna members in Atlanta and the surrounding counties of Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, Coweta, Dawson, Dekalb, Douglas, Fayette, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry, Newton, Paulding, Pickens, Rockdale, Spalding, and Walton.

HPIR Traction Award Winner: WellBe Senior Medical

The Traction Award recognizes innovation amongst organizations selected by the Health Plan Innovation Roundtable (HPIR), with the most health plan interest through the HPIR matching process. This award recognizes the importance of the work being completed in partnership with HPIR members to drive impact through action and innovation. The award recipient was a top solution selected by HPIR members.


HPIR is a collaborative group of regional health plans and an innovation accelerator. The roundtable includes 11 regional health plans representing over 30 million lives. The roundtable is intentionally small and diverse, ensuring that there is no geographic overlap among members so that trusted relationships can be built and foster an intimate, nimble, and highly collaborative forum.
